This website is run by myself, Kelly Hainsworth. I run a reflexology treatment room, provide business support services to practitioners, I am the founder of Love Reflexology Facebook community and host the Love Reflexology Directory.

3. What Personal Data I Collect

Personal data is any information which identifies you personally – for example, your name. This Privacy and Cookies Policy is concerned with the personal data for the following:

  • My reflexology clients and those who enquire about treatments;
  • Business mentoring clients and those who enquire about my services;
  • Customers of business support downloads;
  • Customers of my online courses/workshops;
  • Customers of webinars;
  • Instagram workshop delegates, Instagram Power Hour clients and those who enquire about my services;
  • Love Reflexology Directory members and those who make enquires about the directory;

3.1 Cookies

Like many websites, I use cookies to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to my website. Please refer to the “cookies” section below for full information about cookies and how I use them in point 7. in the below policy.

3.2 Google Analytics

I use a third-party service, Google Analytics on my website. From this I may collect certain information about your visit, such as the type of browser you use, the date and time you accessed the website, the pages that you access whilst visiting the website and the internet address of the website from which you linked directly to this website.  I only use this information for statistical analysis purposes; to help improve and administer the website and it will not be shared with any other party.  This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.  I do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting my website.

3.3 Email Newsletter Subscribers

I use a third-party website called MailerLite to manage my email newsletter. I collect your email address if you subscribe to the newsletter by entering your email in the box provided, you may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the footer of any of the newsletters you receive.

You may also subscribe to the newsletter if you click on the subscribe links posted on my social media accounts.

Kelly Hainsworth respects your email address, and it will only be used to send the email newsletter you have subscribed to.

3.4 For Customers of the Online Shop

I collect information from you when you place an order via the online shop. I may collect your name, email address, mailing address and telephone number to process your order.

Orders for gift vouchers, business support downloads and workshop bookings, are made via third party website WooCommerce and payment is processed by PayPal. I would advise you to read WooCommerce and PayPal’s own Privacy Policies before using their websites.

If you are purchasing a gift voucher, I will also collect information about the gift recipient, so I can fulfil the gift voucher purchase. The information collected will not be used for marketing purposes, nor shared with any other party.

3.5 For Reflexology Clients and Reflexology Treatment Enquiries

If you send to me via email, text or social media messages any sensitive medical/health information, I will only hold and use this if we proceed to treatment, at which time I will require explicit consent from you to hold this data. If we do not proceed to treatment, I will securely erase this information.

If you book one of my reflexology treatments, I collect information about you on my online form via a secure WordPress form on this website. This information is used to plan your treatments and to check for any treatment contraindications. This information is not shared with any other party, and all data is stored securely.

Before booking a reflexology appointment with me, please read the Privacy and Consent Notice, Your Personal Information – General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

The Privacy Notice will be handed to you at your first reflexology appointment and you will be required to read and sign the document under the GDPR guidelines.

Agreement: If you choose to go ahead with a treatment, you agree to the above, the policy issued at the appointment and accept that Kelly Hainsworth is committed to ensuring your information is secure. 3.6 For Love Reflexology Directory Members

3.7 For Instagram Power Hour and Business Mentor Clients:

Enquiries: If you email Kelly Hainsworth with an enquiry about my Instagram Power Hours or Business Mentor services and choose not to go ahead, your details will be deleted securely. 

Proceed: If you book a Business Mentoring package or Instagram Power Hour I will collect the following data from you to provide the services you require:

(a) Basic Contact Details including your name, business name, email address, postal address and telephone numbers so I may contact you about our work together and to issue an invoice to you.

(b) Business Details including the goods/services you provide so that I can understand the nature of your business. I will also require your website link (if you have one) and details of your social media accounts, so I can provide the services as agreed, including social media marketing ideas and support. Please note it is your responsibility to inform me of any changes.

(c) Business or Instagram Goals – this helps me to understand your reason for booking the mentoring or Instagram Power Hour, so I may support you in the correct way.

(d) Agreement: If you choose to go ahead, you agree to the above and accept that Kelly Hainsworth is committed to ensuring your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, Kelly Hainsworth has put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information collected.

3.7 Online Courses

I collect information from you when you place an order for an online course. I may collect your name, email address, mailing address and telephone number to process your order.

Payment for online courses is processed by the third-party website PayPal,  the courses are accessed by third-party website MemberPress and the video content within the courses are hosted and viewed on YouTube. Before purchasing an online course I would recommend that you read the individual privacy policies for PayPal, MemberPress and YouTube.

To access the online course you create a login which allows you to view the course content at a time to suit you. This is for your use only.

Agreement: If you choose to go ahead and purchase and online course, you agree to the Privacy and Cookies Policy and accept that Kelly Hainsworth is committed to ensuring your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, Kelly Hainsworth has put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information collected.

4. Use of Personal Information

The personal information collected on this website, will be used to provide the services you have requested.  This will include:

  • To quickly process transactions of items purchased via the shop page and deliver them to the contact details provided, this includes gift vouchers, digital downloads, online workshops/courses;
  • To deliver gift vouchers purchased to the recipient of the gift voucher;
  • To attend a reflexology appointment with me;
  • To attend a workshop with me;
  • To book a 1:1 Business Mentor or Instagram Power Hour with me;
  • To provide the services you have requested when booking a 1:1 Business Mentoring session or 1:1 Instagram Power Hour with me;
  • To provide the services you have requested when booking on a workshop or webinar;
  • To publish comments on blog posts, submitted by the user as requested. If at any time you would like to remove a comment, please contact Kelly Hainsworth stating the comment you would like to remove and this will be done for you within 14 days of your request;
  • To improve and administer the website;
  • To publish your business listing on the Love Reflexology Directory and provide you with the services you have requested;
  • I use your personal data to accept you as a new or returning Love Reflexology Directory member, publish your business listing on my directory, and provide you with the services you have requested in accordance with their terms;
  • To contact you about a contract renewal for paid-for services including Love Reflexology Directory listings. I will use the telephone number or email address you have provided to me, so I can contact you to discuss the renewal of the contract between us for any paid-for services I provide.  I will do this in the lead-up to the expiry of your contract and, if I don’t hear back from you to confirm whether you would like to renew your contract with me, your listing will be removed after the renewal date has passed;
  • To send you the email newsletter as requested.

5. Security of Information

I am committed to ensuring your information is secure.  To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, I have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures in place to safeguard and secure the information I collect online.

I am registered as a Data Protection Officer with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and adhere to their guidelines on data protection.

6. Data Retention and Your Rights to Control Your Personal Data 

I will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes it was collected for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. By law I have to keep basic information about my customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for six years after they cease being customers for tax purposes and seven years for insurance.

Google Analytics

I use WordPress to create and update my website.  WordPress is a popular Content Management System, used to provide content for over 15 million websites.  WordPress uses cookies for two purposes:

  • Registered members need a cookie to be able to log in. This is ‘strictly necessary’ as WordPress won’t work without it. I do not use these types of cookies for visitors of my website.
  • Visitors who leave a comment on a blog post will have a cookie set on their computer. This is not “strictly necessary” as it’s a visitor’s preference. If you choose to leave a comment on one of my blog posts, this requires a cookie to be placed on your device.

I use MemberPress, which is a WordPress plugin. MemberPress is used by websites to sell online courses, online memberships and digital downloads. I use MemberPress on this WordPress website to sell my online courses.  MemberPress uses cookies for:

  • Purchasers of an online course to be able to log in to the course once a purchase has been made and complete the course content.

I do not gather personal information which could be used to identify visitors or their personal data.

Neal’s Yard Remedies

As a consultant for Neal’s Yard Remedies, I display a third-party link to my consultant shop on its website.  Neal’s Yard processes orders taken via this shop and dispatch them to customers.  As a consultant I receive information about the order placed including the items purchased, the value of the order and the customer contact details.  This information is stored securely after I receive it and is not used by me for any marketing purposes.  Before placing an order on my Neal’s Yard Remedies consultant shop, please read its own privacy policy.

Life Armour

As an affiliate for Life Armour, I display a third-party link to their website. Life Armour process orders taken via their shop and dispatch them to customers. I do not receive details regarding the customer including names or addresses. If an order is placed, I only receive details of the order value. Harrogate Organics

As an affiliate for Harrogate Organics I display a third-party link to their website. Harrogate Organics process orders taken via their shop and dispatch them to customers.
