This is your opportunity to indulge in some time that is just for you, to rest, recharge and unwind.
Facial Reflexology is a nurturing and deeply relaxing treatment available in the heart of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, to provide you with the space and time to relax and unwind.
What is Facial Reflexology?
Facial Reflexology follows the same principles of foot reflexology, it is a soothing treatment where gentle pressure is applied to the reflex points on the face to promote stress relief and a feeling of calm.
Reflexology is a wonderful complementary therapy treatment and is not a substitute for medical care. If you are concerned about your health, please always consult your GP in the first instance
What Happens During a Facial Reflexology Treatment?
Facial reflexology treatments are available in a private, comfortable and relaxing treatment room at The Health Workshop, Rushton’s Yard, Ashby-de-la-Zouch. (Please note the treatment room is upstairs).
At your first appointment we will complete a consultation form, this allows me to check for any contra-indications, tailor the treatment for what you need, discuss your aims for the session and I can answer any questions you may have. We will also discuss your skincare requirements and you will select a facial oil to suit your individual needs. You will also be asked to complete a data protection form.
Your first appointment will last one-hour fifteen minutes, with subsequent appointments lasting one-hour.
Your relaxation time can then begin!
You will be made comfortable on the relaxing couch, with an option of a cosy blanket, and I will begin to cleanse the face and apply a pre-blended organic facial oil. Once the oil is applied, I will apply a gentle pressure on the different reflex points on your face, and use a range of massage techniques. Many clients find the treatment deeply relaxing and achieve a meditative-like state (or even drift off to sleep).
The cleanser and oils used enhance the experience of the treatment, nourish the skin and have a soothing fragrance. I only use organic products for my treatments from Neal’s Yard Remedies, as I believe you deserve the very best!
These products also support my ethos of taking care of the world we live in, as they are kind to the planet.
At the end of the appointment you will have time to enjoy a glass of water and ask any questions you may have.
